Welcome!  I’m Enrique, and I run this joint.  The Corporate Barbarian blog offers career, life, and money advice.  If you’re someone who accepts responsibility for your own personal growth, then you’ve come to the right place.  That’s what this blog is all about.

Why the Corporate Barbarian?  Throughout history, barbarians have been agents of change, be it good or bad.  I always try to improve things at work, so I’m for the good, pushing-the-envelope kind of change.  Also, I’ve been told that I look kind of look like a barbarian.  I’ve been told that I look like other things, too, but Corporate Derelict didn’t sound as good.

I’m a part-time blogger, and full-time corporate beancounter.  With this blog, I hope to share some knowledge that I’ve picked up over the years in the corporate world.  I started this blog as a way of remembering my experiences at work, and the people that have inspired me to excellence.  I hope that I can pass on something meaningful to my readers.  If my advice stinks, let me know about it in the comments.  I’ve got a thick skin.
